That's weird! I was on their site earlier today and didn't see anything but the 3650's! When I went back on just now, there is an Afterburner V2 section. That is where the 80mm's are! Guess I owe them an apology for my email? DOH!
Can't find any tech info on the motors such as are they 2 pole, 4 pole, 6 pole, etc. Anybody know?

all the way to the bottom, I tried adding it to the cart just to see if it would work... it did, even when they are out of stock (3680/1100)...

Ken,how long did it take to get your motor?
I ordered 2 similar motors, out of stock at the time, and mine took approx 5 weeks to come.
I already have the MR-3670-2300V2SE-5 and it runs very smooth and quiet.
Much smoother and cooler than the Fiegaos.

yeah dude start a new thread, I got 53mph from a fiegao 540 8xl in a 33 inch cat on 4s (was my own design) So you should be hitting at least 50mph if not more

Crab, do you have any pictures of this cat and what prop did you use?

I dont have pics of the original cat here on my work PC but I do at home.
Prop was an X440/3 blade that has been worked a little. Cells were zippy R 2250mah 25c - 4s, i ran 2p to give me 4500mah

This Cat is its replacement as the original got destroyed on a fast blowover (Balsa and FE doesn't mix to well)

                      http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...ead.php?t=7649

I have only run the new cat on 8xl 3 times, once for a trial run, then the two club champs races which I won both of in our P-Restricted offshore class (and subsequently the club champs)

I can upload the pics of the first cat when I get home, although its pretty much the same design with a couple of inches added to it for rough water. Narrow Tunnel for less lift for them rough days!

Hello. New season brings new setup of my boat. It is lighter and have new battery packs (turnigy 5000mAh 8S) and ESC (Castle creations Phoenix Ice 100 with homemade water cooling).

Also esc have a logger and the highest power is 3393,8W@121,5A@28V@27000RPM :D (on accelerating)

But on full speed is about 2700W@93A@29V@29000RPM :D Also sounds good

Next time mabye I can check real speed with GPS but it's look at a bit higher speed and more stabile.

                        Thanks Karol.

Any pics of the new setup with the Ice 100? My buddy is going to be trying the ICE 100 in one of his 4s boats and I am going to try a Ice 200 in one or two of my 6s hulls this season.

I would also like to see some pics and like to hear how the phoenix handled. What were the temps? At 120amps you're pushing the esc pretty hard...

Which packs exactly did you use(which c rating do they have)?
