    MHZ Micro Shovelnose help...

Originally a mono freak I have in my hands for the last month a micro shovelnose from MHZ which I got from a friend of mine. After various setups I concluded to this:

    40A Supersimple ESC
    2830 (380S) 2200 inrunner
    1000mAh 11.1 25C Lipo
    2.4GHz receiver

The shovel runs fine up to 1/2 of the throttle in about an inch wave at a little pond that we have here. It planes quickly, fills up with air and cruises fine. When I try to squeeze the throttle a bit it dives in the water, any ideas how to overcome the problem?

    That's my little pride...

I have a Futaba 3PM 2.4 and it works fine without a pistix, I have though stripped the plastic cover and attached a little brass tube on the plate above the fets to keep it cool. Other than that is it a plug and play ESC, have to set it up for LiPos though...

Either CG or possible strut angle. Most bury the nose when coming out not the other way. Your prop is obviously pushing the nose in if punching it is doing this while already on top and running.

Any room to move the CG back a little? Do one thing at a time. At least make sure the strut is flat or has no neg trim in it.

                  More pics,

I have to be straight, the scale details were catered by a ggod friend of mine that deals with mostly scale speedboats. Such a classic hull, if not mahogany planked, it needs some scale details at least the basic stuff...
