New small hydro build. Need your input.

    Hello out there,

Have a new small hydro in the shop that I am working on. It is close to 14 inches long.

Have a 35 amp esc for it.

    Need some recommendations on:
    • Motor
    • Lipo size
    • Prop

As you can tell...this is my first small build.

    Appreciate it!

    My micro shovelnose has:

    2835 brushless inrunner 2200kv
    3s 1000mah 25C Flightmax lipo
    29mm

    And runs nice, quite fast...

(I have ordered a 2700kv though to get that little extra bit...)

    Hope this helps...

Very nice hydro. Thanks for the pic and the info. Definately helpful.

Looks like a turnigy motor? Think the 2845 would be a good match or is maybe too hot of a motor?

            Jim,

Excellent craftsmanship on those builds. I especially like the engine detail and the driver (awesome!)

Please pardon the background color of my mini hydro. Working on web pics for the shop site.

These are fiberglass. 16in long x 8" wide and about 3" tall. Coming in this blue metallic and bright red. Should be a fun little runner.

            Enjoy.

2835(380S) 2200KV is a bit too fast so I would not put the 2845 in it, apart from the fact that it wont fit...

              @Skunkworks, thanks pal...
