I have a Viper II that is almost identical with the Miss Budwiser theme. This Viper Turbine is #2 on my favorite hull list. These boats are very fast and if setup correctly, handle like they are on rails.

Do you have both hatches? That's cool... run each a different day depending on the mood...

On my Viper II, the strut is set at 12mm bottom of transom to top of flexshaft with a neutral angle. Center of Gravity is 34mm behind sponsons.

Have you tried that X642 prop on the new hull yet? What kind of speeds are you seeing?

I don't have the new hull Turbine hull set up yet. The x642 D/T yielded 56 mph on the Viper 2 hull with an 8xl on 4s1p 4100 30c Neu Lipo's. On your Viper thats Solinger HW right? Ask Danny if he used the mono or hydro HW. My Solinger Hydro HW looks like it won't have any room for adjustment. I may even do Speedmaster setup, just don't know yet.

Yes, mine has the Solinger hardware. Danny had Hydro HW, but I bought from him without because I couldn't afford it at the time and he needed for another project. I ended up finding some Mono HW that I traded some stuff for. Then I flipped over the arm for the rudder. I'll confirm that again to be sure. I'd run the Hydro HW if I were you....and mount to the left

I wouldn't worry about too much adjustment. Mine has wire drive and there is very, very little adjustment available. I've been going through props and adjusting accordingly. I just have to stop hitting fish!

What hardware are you using on the Viper 2?

Viper 2 has the FDM hardware. This is the first Viper "Miss Budwiser" I bought from Danny.
