Possible re-intro build

i wish i could buy that, but my parents wont buy me anything else now that i already spent so much on this boat...i actually sold my xbox to pay for it.....
not to mention by the time they could buy it, it would have probably been sold....

besides BBY's OM 26 and 29 are pretty affordable brand new.....so if i do decide to swap out everything, i probably can fairly easily....i might need a larger strut and rudder...as well as a flex shaft probably, as any larger strut would probably use a bigger flex shaft.

what i did notice however, was that the prop shaft did have some play in the strut....im not sure why, the strut was new so i didnt have any wear....im guess its supposed to have a little space so the propshaft doesent bind, but i guess it was enough that it vibrated it loose....

Well schools started up again and i've had a lot less time to even think about getting the boat fixed...the hull is stripped (of all eletronics) at the moment....ive also taken off the strut the rudder...

what ill do is solder up the unassembled flex shaft i have here and buy a new prop, nut, washer, and drive dog....i also need to make a new battery trap as the epoxy popped loose from the hull again....(i really need some of that plastic CA)......ill also add a few oz. of lead shot to the hull to keep it down at speed.....im also going to fill in all the holes in the transom where the strut used to be and re-mount it, as before it was off to the side a little from the stuffing tube (could have been the cause of the vibration)......however, if all that fails, all i can think of is a new hull with a larger flex shaft (or possibly even a straight shaft)...the tolorances should be a lot closer with a different (higher quality) strut.

however i was planning on buying a new bike part before all this, so it might have to wait for a little while longer....

i have a very nice 0m29 if your looking just the hull, has fiber glass reinforced, smooth layout just missing hardware, has holes but i can tell you what hardware i had if you went that route, and sharpened edges
