im starting to build an airboat hull from some 1/4" ply i found stashed in the garage...
it will be 40" long by 20" wide (16" wide at bottom) and 3" thick...only the inner structure of the hull will be made of 1/4" ply...the deck will be 1/8" ply and the skin will be 1/16"....it will run on two GMS .32 nitro engine with 9x6 props...
i have spent no money on this build yet, so it not interfering with my other projects.....yet
