jesse, it depends in where the prop is in relation to the rudder.if your prop is much farther from the transom than the rudder your steering will suffer. some people cut the stinger down to get better steering. I however would just extend the rudder bracket.

right. That's why I just bought the stinger hardware package off of Nate, I want to replace the 3" stinger, swap out a farther back rudder and rock and roll.
      Thanks

please look at the above pictures and tell me the outward angle I should have on the turn fins...I have them hanging down 90deg to the bottom of the hull but I need to know how far out do I kick them?

I have adjusted my turn fins based on water conditions and how much I need to turn. Least possible. If it hops on turns, then you need more. I have very little experience, but this is what I have observed.

hey Bustit, you get that Titan back in the water yet? She should rip with that 7xl. I've pesonally never ran a tranny in a boat but it looks like a sweet setup!

Ok me and my son just got back from a very small pond (way to small)
I got all the bugs out from last time...this time the new tactic 2.4 system worked like a charm..complete control....could never get enough speed had to shut down....then I thought I saw smoke and started screaming..lol and then lost the brand new M545 prop....going to start using blue loctite....learn something every time

Just saw vid, looks good, valid point about the dinky pond. C'mon up here, we gots nice big ponds with just the right amount of chop. We go early and it be flat for hydros, or afternoon and it be choppy.

So that was 4S2P, what batts? what were temps after that run? I think a bearing is bad in my 10XL and that is why it melted my ESC.
