    dual rudders

    Hello guys;
    I have a dual rudder setup from WHH and I would like to put it on my rio51. I need to get some kind of brackets that will bolt on to this rudder system.They would have to be at list 2 1/2" long so that I can extend the rudder farther out..Anyone here know of where I could get something this.
    Thanks
    Al

    if you can tell me EXCATLY what you need (a sketch would be great) I can make em for you at work, as long as I can find material. No charge, just cover all my shipping/fees/costs. But you gotta be as specific as possible. Especially on holes. Unless you want just the brackets, and drill all holes yourself.

      I'm assuming you are going to be drilling the hull on the new boat, not mounting it to anything existing. In that case, I can do the holes no problem, just use the brackets as templates for drilling. Just let me know what size screws you want to use and I will do that. Here's what I got. 0.125" thickness, 3" long, 1" wide strip, with a 1" angled piece. This I can make no problem, with the 2 holes of your choice for mounting.

      The only thing I would need from you is the size of the screw attaching the rudder (so I can make a clearance hole for you), the center to center location of the holes, and how far to offset the holes from the edge. Let me make a drawing of what I need.
