    Rico 31" P-Mono

Thought I'd post a few pics of my latest fast electric build since I took some heat for posting my Large Scale Gas 27 Mono.

    31" Rico Mono with a 1515 1Y on 4s 2p MarinePower 4950s, Hydra 240, and a tweeked M445.

Short vid of her first day. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDQ19IEgpkY

          Thanks fellas!
Kevin the tabs are set even with the bottom of the boat (straight edge)and there is approx 1 degree of up in the strut.

              Thanks Andy
I was running with a DF33 today with the same setup. They are pretty even speed wise, but when the pond gets messy the Rico handles better, especially in the corners.

                Nice one Doug!

I almost bought one of these last year, but no-one else seemed to run them (except Mike), so I went for a DF.

Glad to see another one out there.

Hm might be time to look at a new mono hull, The old DF is getting a bit banged up now.

I may end up running one that is 1/2 or 5/8" shorter. I need some more wheel time with her.

That's all gelcoat except for the windshield Douggie.

I put a .187 in this one as it is a bit heavier than P boats I have run in the past.

That's beautiful. I think you are a "mono" expert,80 mph with a mono is "something" to achieve.

Only one query from me, do you use teflon in your flex? If not, you do you make the stinger adjustable?
