Help!!!

I have a MM I bought on ebay it came with most of the hardware and radio the only thing it was missing was a gas tank which I had an extra one. I've been debating on change it over to electric. What I'm not sure is what motor batteries and anything else I may need. I'd like it to do at least 40mph I'd like to get a descent engine that can hit 40 and above. I'm starting to get real sick of nitro motors. My boss has an electric and every time we go to the pond he tosses his boat right in and he's up and running. Me I spend five minutes unloading my stuff pouring gas then trying to get the freaking thing started. If I get it into the pond the freaking thing dies. Nitro fuel spills everywhere, as you guys can see I'm getting sick of nitro.
Can anybody give me some tips on what would be a good combination for my mean machine. Thanks
