Okay, time for some real Dutch-madness.
Hardcore-Overkill-reinforcement-time !!!
Uni-Directional carbon 45 degree multi layer, to protect the crappy joint.
I think I'll call the boat "Fort Knox",Attached FilesLast edited by Gerwin Brommer; 09-27-2009, 01:56 PM.Comment

Zdrive on the back, with the motor directly attached to it, that means an
awfull lot of weight in the back.
I absolutely wanted a bulkhead in the nose. For strenght, and to serve as
a airchamber in case of damage to the hull.
In order to be able to move the CG from 28 up to 33 % (or more) , I have
to be able to put weight in the front of the hull.
Hm, how can we do that if there is a closed bulkhead in the nose ?Comment

okay, okay. your wish is my command , hihi
I'm making a "watercontainer".
Formed a piece of Styrodur, it follows th shape of the bottom of the hull.
Cover it with glasscloth.
After curing i'll wash the foam out with "thinner" , attach a few pipes/hoses to the
tank, glue the tank in front of the bulkhead, hoses/pipes will go thru the bulkhead.Attached FilesComment

10S2P hardpack.
A real pain in the a** to make, so little space "inside"
Wiring : 2x 6mm
Balancing : Sub-D connectors
2,5 mm black epoxiesheet.
Cells : Kokam 4000 30C H5Attached FilesComment

Andy.
Yes. 1 large one from front to back, 2 small ones from side to middle.
Witk small holes in it to be able fill the whole container.Comment

IF i'm using the chamber ,it will be completely filled.
The holes in the walls are very small, so the water will stay where it is.
IMO the container with baffles works better than the common used IV-bags.Comment

First I have to complete the build.
Have to make a mount for the lipo.
Give the inside the final finish layer of cloth ( very rare carbon/kevlar hybrid cloth )
Figure out how to mount the servo, I wanna let it look nice :-)
Send out the esc for an upgrade ( extra caps )Comment
