Hi Salir, Sorry to bother you but have some questions. I am going to order the Neu
1515 1Y as you suggested. What ESC should I get that does not need too much
    programing?. I was using 2 x 2S1P 30C -8000 Mah SMC Lipos. I think the neu will
need 6S, Using an Octura X640 Prop and have no issues with temperatures but
maybe that will have to change. Like my dad said: If you can't beat them join them.
    Thanks for any help

      Hi Guys!

Where can I get plans for for a 32-35" catamaran? I have a 200A esc and 36-74 1900kv motor I want to use. Your inputs will be highly appreciated.

The build continues with blue foam added on sides, then covered with 1/16" balsa. The blue foam was sawed in half to reduce its thickness, mabe not necessary. To save time, the rear 2/3rd of sides was sheeted horizontially, the front third was sheeted vertically. The foam and balsa substantially stiffens the structure.

The bottom sheeting from motor mounting frames to transom was reinforced with 6oz carbon fiber. The was the alternative to adding blue foam which would have interferred with needed space and made mounting the stuffing tube supports more difficult.

At the transom and mounting frames for the outdrives/stingers, the previously carbon fiber matted wood was reinforced with 6oz carbon fiber 2x2 weave sandwiched with 1/64" birch ply. 1/4" bass wood was then added over the drilled holes to support the T nuts for the mounting bolts.

Now ready to sheet all balsa with 1/64" plywood and construct deck. Will use blue foam on the deck also.

              Hi rawson,

I read your post where you mentioned you want to make engine hatches on your boat. I've done just that. You can see my build here:
Speed - Electric - Norbert's 1.1m balsa cat build - Hi! I've already promised to some of you that I'll post a thread showing my 1.1m balsa cat scratch build. Not long ago I built a balsa cat per Shockerman's plans at 80% size of the original plans. I liked the boat so much that I decided to build it agan, but this time

just go to page 3-4 if you want to see the hatches only.
Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it.

I finished my version of the 30" Cat today. The parts were cut by Alex Guzman, but from light plywood instead of balsa. I used pink foam in the front part of the sponsons and sheeted it with 1/32nd plywood. I still have a couple decals to add to the upper surface and clear coat it - but it is ready to run now.

Like Norman's boat it will be powered by a UL-1 motor and ESC combo and racing in the P-Spec offshore class next season.

Final weight: 4lbs 3oz with 4200mah batteries. It would be interesting to see how that compares to the balsa and epoxy versions of this boat.

Now I just need a nice day for testing.

Hi Marcelo, The plans I sent you were the ones I used to build my cats. It is only
for the frame and hatch. The covering sheets I made by drawing myself once I
completed frame. Let me see if I can find some more information.
