Fits the UL1, Elam, Vegas and most monos. SVs no problem with the brackets that come with it.

We pay so much attention to resistance and this is a no brainer to help eliminate just that. You do have to sand the stub down slightly since 187 bearings are really about 185. chuck it in a drill and sand it a bit. Bearings are good for about 45,000 rpm but change to ceramic and you are good for about 80,000...like anyone could do that.

I am talking the new strut with 3/16" shaft.

The other strut in the upper thread is a 4mm shaft that steps up to 3/16". I can make whatever you want to work...4mm props are fine as well.

I would rather use a 3/16" hub prop when we can...since the majortiy of of the props we use are Octura.

Actually, I was teasing, and meant a prop with 4mm od not shaft size.... and referring to your 80K rpms comment.

I would like a set of plans of the 810mm x 150mm tunnel width for lazer cutting by Al Guzman.

Jes, PM me your e-mail address and I will send them for free.

Guys, my build is progressing a bit. Paintwork is finished although not perfect, but for a first try and with rattle cans it turned out just fine. Next will be hardware install and decals. The rudder and stingers already mounted. The cockpit is a butchered SV27 canopy mounted far back to get that long nose sleek cat look.

It is actually not black, but Navy blue. The stinger is the Etti one as below...
The rudder is a Graupner one from Cornwallmodelboats.

Lomdel, very nice looking build. I really like your paint scheme, how about shooting some pics in the sunlight during a float test? Great struts! I am ready to see her wet. Do you have any recent pics of the innards? Lookin good and SV lid works out real nice. Good job!
