Yesterday was the Chaparral maiden voyageI think i have a monster that needs some taming down first run at 31% cog, was way too loose second run at 33% a bit better but i think i need some extra weight here is the vid of the second run just over 60mph when i get it sorted this will do 70 + for sure
And here is my Lizard Xtreme it just loves the new Hyperion 35C 5500mAh batt, it blows me away every time i run it KB45 8XL must be the cheapest motor on the market but don't let it fool you it's got a tonne of grunt for sure enjoy

the only way to describe it would be to call it a Wild Beast. It was just Madness!!! with the power that thing showed on the weekend 80mph would be possible IMO.
Did you manage to get it to full throttle bro ?
your lizard would have been near on 60mph too!!
Go the MHZ hulls!!!
Nice work as Always Adrian!Comment

Nice work Adrian, good to see the boat run. It sure was impressive!
Just add another set of lipo's, that should weigh it down, and put less strain on the batts. 11,000mah mmmmmMMmmmMmmm.Comment

Adrian !
Congrats ! Nice maiden !
which prop did you run ?
Looks like the boat might like some more weight ( 2P config. :-) )Comment

i have a question for you i could not get that esc to work on HRS mode only on PPM i would like to run hrs because i'm running a Digital servo any suggestions ?

The esc and the TX-RX signal are worlds apart.
HRS/PCM/PPM ONLY tells you something about the "signal-traffic" between transmitter and receiver. The esc doesn't care which RX " feeds him".Comment

Off to the pond again tomorrow i got a 2kg (4 pounds) lump of stainless steel mounted in the boat Cog at 35 nowComment

We were all mighty impressed by the speed and build quality of both of your boats on the weekend mate.
Keep up the great work.
4lb of stainless steel ballast up front , just remind me to stand well back from the bank !!!
I'm even more motivated now to do a big twin electric conversion on my Victory cat.
By the way, what's that little cat sitting on top of the Chaparral, have you been shopping again ?
