Re build of Striler 41 Cat

I built this boat with the parts from my 36 Jessy James hull and took it out and tried it last year. The 3040 14T turned out to be too small of a motor for the the big 41 inch Cat. Not liking to not have enough power I bought the biggest Neu I could a 2230! Sence this motor is a 4 pole and not a 2 pole it will have a lot more power. It looks like it fits in the hull:yeah: Sence I am a dealer for the hulls I am going to build a new hatch to make the boat look more like a offshore boat.

    The new BBY Hardware

A little closer detail on the motor and the mounts.

I am sure you'll have no problem moving that hull Randy, it looks like a

You can really see how huge this motor really is when its mounted in a 41" Cat and it doesn't look small!!

Good Job Randy! I want to see an extreme paint job on this as well. Unless you had other plans since you want a scale hatch?
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

        Lookin' good Randy!

What 2230 did you go with?

I have been waiting for Steven here at OSE to get me a 1Y.. I want to test one in the same boats I have ran my 3060/10 and 2215/2Y,, just for some comparison..

        It should FLY for sure!!
Nothing like keeping you lipos warm and your prop wet!!

Actually it's a Stryker F-41. And who says a big Lehner isn't enough power?

65 mph in a gas heat race, oval trim.......you'll love it Randy.

A 3040 was not enough in thick stickey water! A 3060 should be a lot better and the 3080 I guess would be Great!
