    The Optics of FE

Yes, it is Douggie again. Some people respect me, others have another point of view. It is time for many in this hobby to give a huge hug to the many people that started this endeavour. I think I know who they are, but your tributes will be welcome.
    I start with Ray Fuller.

My vote goes to Jay Turner. He may not be the oldest or most experienced but he sure has been the most helpfull, for me at least.

      Thanks Jay!

My vote goes to Steven V for giving us the the place to buy the products, as well as tremendous support, we need to stay current and enjoy this sport. His continuing to pursue our needs as the sport grows is also well appreciated! He should also be commended for hosting such a first class forum that allows us to share our thoughts and builds as well as gain insight and knowledge!

      Thanks Steven!!!
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

Props to Herb Stewart who I watched race thirty years ago. His unrelenting effort to promote FE in the face of its would be detractors, and those who may be less than open minded to the evolution of FE is admirable.

            Bust 'em up Herb.

I have to give kudos to the present members of this forum as they may not be pioneers of FE but these guys sure have helped me a great deal!

I completely agree. I will have to say that Doug Smock has helped me countless times and I appreciate all the times he has got me out of a jam. I probably wouldnt even still own FE boats right now if it wasnt for his help.

Thanks to Jay Turner for all the advice.

Also a HUGE thank you to Steven V. here at OSE for the wonderful support with great products and honest service!!!

Without them I would still be running gassers and a SV27..
Nothing like keeping you lipos warm and your prop wet!!

                            Wow, Thanks Will.

Mike, you would have been proud of Herb two weekends ago when he took home a first place in open tunnel.
He was racing against nitro and 1/4 scale gas tunnels in the roughest water I have ever seen on a race day, and he did it with his P-Tunnel.
                            You go Herb!!!

Ed Hughey, Ray Fuller, Tom Perzenka, Steven Vaccaro, Randy Naylor,
Where would we be without these guys??
John Finch, Roger Newton, Andy Kunz, Jerry Dunlap, Jay Turner,

I'd list the people who have helped me personally, other than those above, but I'm afraid I'd leave someone out.
There are lots of really good people involved model boating, gas, nitro and FE.
                            I thank them (you) all!!!
                            See ya at the pond!!

Ray Fuller taught me 99% of what I know and that is probably less than 1% of what he knows.
