    Titan 29 Refurbish

Hi, Just installed an SV27 brushless system which I got from Steve at OSE. Using
the same X447 prop I was amazed at the increase in speed. Also changed the
name to get ready for this season in our clubs new LSO class with BJ, SV, or UL-1
powerplants. Should go to lipos but do not know what pack or packs to get.

Great job. Love the windshield treatment. Go for the most battery capacity you can; Offshore runs 4-minute heats and the Titan needs some weight to keep from getting too loose; the hull loves to air out ! I've set mine up with the UL-1 powerplant & am testing with some older Poly RC 4900's in 4S2P arrangements and smaller props to get the best combo of speed & runtime.

      Nice job!

I like the name! Shake and bake!!

You can call me the Magic Man...

(I'm hoping you got the idea from Talledega Nights)
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

Cool looking boat. Look at Tony's reply on props. I think an X447 is too large.

Like Douggie said, a smaller prop, or a cut down bigger one may be better. You'll find that the Titan's extreme deep-V and it's tendency to air out may cause some torque roll in straight running as well as affecting the ability to negotiate the left turn[s] in an LSO course. I'm still working this out with mine.

Thanks Douggie, Would you reccomend an X442 or X445. Thanks for your help.
I used to use an OSE 700 sc motor with the X447. Thanks again

Norman, frankly the only way to tell is when you change to LI-PO batteries is a lot of trial and error with your setups and watch your temperatures or else use an Eagle recorder which is way more accurate.
