I'd go with the Mean Machine regardless. Its a more stable boat and made for the speed.

Here's a quick breakdown of the expenses you could be looking at for a fast and reliable boat:

      Hull $150
      Hardware $100
Feigao XL w/ cooling jacket $85
      Hydra 120 $180 or HiModel 200a $60
4s Lipo at least $150 plus charger
      Tx/Rx, servo $90

      Total $755 plus LiPo charger
My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

The mean machine would be good, also if you can get hold of one is the Skunkworks Cat. Great hull and will easily handle 50mph..

                  Rich,

I think you set off the car alarm running the 6s! What a screaming mm.

The 32 cat from ebay is much slimmer and my thoughts are that the mount sits too high. Heard some feedback out there that the hull twists.

My 30 cat is very good and value minded. The handling is awesome. Working to update the hull with a better hatch to keep the water out. A work in progress...continual improvement.
Stay in front and don't get sprayed!

Another advantage of the MM comparing to the e-bay cat is the inside space. The MM has lots more space to put things in.
First I bought the Chinese cat but when I run the MM I sold the Chinese

MM for 60 is the hull only, 120 plus shipping for hull and hardware. I have not heard if they have anymore or not. G/L
