    Twin 6s cat

Gidday from Western Australia Skippers, I have two Lehner 1184Kv 2250 motors I would like to put in a cat twin 6s. I would welcome any recommendations you have for a hull. This is a sport boat only and i would prefer a hull that can turn well. Not straight speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

Thanks Koen. I like the look of the fighter cat but I think i see seeing two different lengths? Is there about one at 850mm and one about 1040? Does anyone out there know where there is a carbon fibre hull for sale"

Fighter cat is long gone as a supplier but Steve carries the Cheetah which started at Fightercat. Those motors would be overkill on a Cheetah but propped right would likely have a great runtime on 6s.

PS: look into RC Boat Bitz down under

The TFL Cheetah is an excellent turning hull, but as Srislash mentioned, the 2250's will be overkill. While I love the looks of the MHZ114 Mystic hull, it's a SAW hull and handles terribly when doing anything other than straight passes, or long sweeping turns once on plane. The Delta Force Explorer is a better turning cat hull, but at 36" long, still a little small for 2250 motors.

You could also reach out to Wayne at Entrophy Australia. He may know of something local. The 2250 motors that you have would power a decent size gas boat hull (40-48”+) and there is a decent gas community down there and a couple guys doing hulls. Something like a Styker or R42 would be real good.

                  Hello!
Don't know if this is a bit off topic but i think it's related to the original question and can be helpful to see the relation about hull and maneuverability.
How are the HPR hulls compared to MHZ, cheetah or delta force in maneuverability?

                  thanks.

i have a mhz 114 and a 84 both with a single motor and they turning very well the turning radius is a bit wider ,i have also a Aeromarine Sprint cat and it turns on a dime but less speed then the mhz cats
the HPR is about the same as a mhz and the cheetah is a bit like the sprint cat ,but as with any hull how it handle's is a matter of setup and a lot of fiddling and testing

                      Checkout the Maxcat wood kit

The Maxcat big for zenoah powerFormers for the big cat from MaxcorvetteSpecs:lenght :1450mmBeam : 410mmPower : zenoah 26 No stringers or sheeting added no drawing But it is very easy and the cat does extremely well The Set contains a radio box Now with GFK Cowl/Hatch 6mm parts are joined with glass from 2x3mm ply Check

also the F41 stryker is a good hull

RC Boatworks F41 is a proven top competitor for many years. All F41 come with the popular drag cowl but no radio box. We do recommend a Gen1 radio box due to its low profile but a Gen2 will work.

                      Then there's the champion R42

last but not least Rico Racing

thank you all for your input, it's greatly appreciated. What do you think about the cheetah Xl at 1010mm (40" for our American friends )
