    ML Boatworks GSX380 build

    Good afternoon,
I am building an ML Boatworks GSX380. Trying to figure out where to mount the esc. It is so big that my options are limited. As you can see in the pictures I have it up with the batteries because I know with hydros you want the weight forward. However, with all the weight I have in front I am worried that she will sink like the yellow submarine before I even hit the throttle. Should I build some sort of platform near the top of my stuffing tub and mount it there? If I do that I will have to use wire extenders for the batteries at the least. Also, for cooling with the esc sideways I am worried about my cooling lines getting pinched. If I mount the esc sideways I would need some barbed 90degree fittings. Can’t find them anywhere. Any insight on this build would be greatly appreciated. Don?t worry about hurting my feelings either. This is my first full build and I want to get it right.

Here is my present layout. I've also had an esc mounted on its side, beside the motor. 20240920_162907.jpg

I think I have it figured out. I cut a hole in the bulkhead on the right side where you previously had an esc mounted. Batteries will be in the same spot. One thing I still have to figure out is how to get the warp out of my canopy. It came warped and I’ve tried heating with a heat gun and then taping it down. Then removed the tape the following day and it pops back to warped shape. I will figure something out.
