I didn't think of that, that is an interesting idea.

      Hi

Running a bit behind on your mount but should be done tomorrow , I will post a picture with my 30100 mounted inside
.I still need to mount ESC plate and drill and tap side mount screws , there is also a black silicone tube at rear to cushion back of motor in mount . if you roll back to previous picture you will see it on mounts I posted .

Oh wow, it looks so good. I'm excited to see this in person. The rubber cushion is an amazing touch. I never would have thought about putting something like that in a motor mount.

I just realized I never answered this question. I'm going with the ZTW 500 amp. Is it overkill? Most likely.

Done - your mount is complete , Jeez I will have to make myself one also.

Jesse - You will need to put a bit of dish soap on the rear of the motor to slide the rear of the
mount on with the black silicone tube cushion ....... Its pretty snug !!

Also, what is that on the back of your motor? Is it so that the wiring configurations are interchangeable? If so, that is simply brilliant.

Yes that is correct , makes it easier switching back and forth from Delta or Star .

I have done all my Lehners this way

I had a feeling. Did you make those because if you did ....... can you make some for me please?

That is the smartest thing I've seen all year.

What size bullets do you use?

Do you have 3 wires out your back or 6 on the Lehner

I'm running 3, on second thought, it doesn't make any sense.

I'm using the LMT solder straps for the delta wind. I am a little worried about them, as they only take 6mm bullets; shouldn't I be using something larger for something pulling this many amps, like an 8mm?

I use 6mm connectors and mine is a 7 turn . The 500 amp ESC you are going to use is a good idea and good insurance. If you could solder on 8mm connectors those would easily take the load .

I'd take LMT 6mm bullets over any other 8mm bullets..
