Jimmy won;t have any paint removed from racing touchs because the boat is being held together by stickers.

            Hey Scotty,

What size TP pack are U running ? I was originally going to go with a 5000mah but have since changed my mind, the 5000 is going in the shovel for the weight ( I really need it) and I am getting a TP 3300 pack to go in the OM instead, I dont think that it will need that much power.

And best of all both the restricted boats will be ready for Sunday

              Hey Jimmy,

Just sticking with the 5000s for all hulls for now. I figure they won't take long to recharge in the Restricted classes, since we won't be draining much out.

Ben, I'm going to test at Boondall tomorrow, so fingers crossed!

Testing yesterday went really well. Started with a detingued X642, them M445 then a detounged X645. The 645 gave the best combination of speed and handling, so I'll stick with that.

No photos or video, our resident camera man is on holidays. But I was surprised with how bright the red is on the water. Can't wait for racing in 2 weeks!

It was good to see it on the water Scotty. Certainly was running well with that last prop.
I'll vouch for the brightness of the red out on the water. I think you'll even be able to see it through the white water going into a crowded bottom turn.
                  Good luck in the racing.
                  Paul.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

Rick, that pic was with an 8XL on 12 cells. I'd say it was doing just over 40 mph in that shot. It was a rough day on the water!

Casey's first club meeting is done and dusted. Came 2nd overall for the day. Won the first race, DNF'd the second race after a blow over while leading, and won the third race.

Unfortunately the DNF cost me a few points, but that's what happens when Jimmy Sterling is applying the pressure! A few guys flipped during the day, so I wasn't alone. This is a very competitive class.

Some minor tuning required, but overall I am very happy. The BJ26 motor and lipo combination is a blast. I have a Vac-U-Pickle coming that will have the same powerplant, so that will be my next build (right after I finish my Mean Machine). Loving it!
