    Eric?s ML Boatworks GP400 Q hydro

So I picked this up off Jesse. ML boatwork GP400 I believe it V1?
    It has following currently..
    Neu 1527 1250kv
    HRC cooling jacket
    Hobbywing max5 esc
    RC battery Liperior 60c 4000mAh 6s
    Top secret rc turn fin
Speedmaster flat bottom strut & rudder

Jesse had to fix the bottom as it broke out and lost the batteries.

It moved good last race! Too bad my prop shaft and flex shaft no longer wanted to be one piece at the start of the race and we couldn't go round together!

It did move, I feel like it not going to keep up with PT 45's in the long run. I mostly started this post to document changes I make so I can see what does. Plus I haven't seen much GP series, I know they older and not made anymore.

So we raced on Dec 3rd. I decided to make a one change and try a flat bottom strut. It felt good and seem to gain little more speed so the ass isn?t dragging as much. Was able to pull off 2nd place in 2 heats. Next I?m going to try extended flat bottom strut and extended rudder mount with shorter, non tapered rudder to see I can make it more stable while trying other props out.

Good job Saturday Eric. Glad to see the QSH going in the direction you want it to.

But man that white PT sure looks good

We are lucky that we get to race year around, specially at the location we do, we are very spoiled.

Arn't your summers a little hot? For my location and my age/health I like spring and fall the best.

I had a lot of fun with my Q Sport Hydro last year, gust getting in to it with a Whiplash and a AC sport 40.

Our summers do get hot. But I’m native Texan so I’m use it.
