best way to secure a sleeved stuffing tube

Decided on going without a teflon liner for my 1/4 flex shaft, so I sleeved 5/16 into a 3/8 tube, its stainless tubing so was wondering what would hold the smaller tube in place? was gonna solder it, but stainless is a PIA to solder. its a close fit, so not sure if epoxy will hold if it just gonna get pushed out when inserting smaller tube or maybe use a loctite?

a clamping shaft collar on the sleeve OD would work.

Loctite 603 retaining compound. Easier to handle and breaks when heated up.

I second the Loctite Retaining Compound, although I use Loctite 648. The biggest difference between 603 & 648 is that 648 had a high-temperature resistance, so it won't fail in high-heat areas. Due to possible high temperatures in the stuffing tubes, caused by the super-high rotating speeds of the flex cables, that's what led me to go with 648.
