Cnc wood boat kit by RC builder.com ?

    Hello Everyone

I wanted to share my recent customer service experience with this company
RC- builder.com, I purchased one of their scale model hydroplane kits. I contacted the company explaining there was a part issue with the kit - mis cut of one of the parts
Acknowledging the issue an apology was made by the company. However I was told that they do not send replacement for the defective part, you will need to hand cut the part out yourself. This is unacceptable in my view you should be careful ordering kits from this company

You should have bought one of my Atlas kits. I GUARANTEE every part to fit because they are laser-cut to 0.005" and I've built a few already to test the fit.

Oh wait a minute!.... They're too small for most modelers on this forum...

I purchased a wood kit , a cracker box from another such company a few years ago. Parts were not cut accurately, instructions were a mess and substituted balsa for hardwood without any explanation. Got the hull framed up but haven't proceeded any further.
