Well I didn’t document the build; it was done before I knew it.
I ended up cutting the hatch too short and had to make my own.
Black epoxy was used to seal the wood and the cowl was sanded.

Then I sprayed the cowl and the pieces of carbon fiber/Kevlar with 3m contact cement and affixed the cloth. Then I applied two pumps worth of west systems epoxy. Once cured and sanded lightly, I added a layer of black epoxy.

Once this is good and cured, I’ll finish with bondo and another layer of thick 5min epoxy.

The hull sealing method is my latest technique: dyed black epoxy cut with 1/3 acetone to thin, and spread with a 2mm thick piece of acrylic spreading tool - using the factory edge, so it’s super smooth! Just enough to seal, but no more. Way less sanding too!

Finished product.
After two bondo/sanding sessions, I painted another layer of black epoxy.
One last sanding and it will be ready for paint!

Penultimate paint scheme

Yep great kit.. was built before I could grab the camera!
Here is trials paint scheme.. plan to paint mo betta soon. These are vinyl graphics I cut for test run.

I think the sponsons were widened to accommodate more capacity/higher volts.

Yep, still propping up! That was octura 452.
Need to work on the bounce in the turns, but otherwise, pretty successful maiden!

Looks like shes a good runner Jesse. I see you're a Limitless owner also. I picked one up at the end of March. She's all most ready to go.
