    Electric conversion

Hey, Ive got a Arrowshark gas boat 56 inches, looking to put a castle 2028 with a ZTW 300 amp Esc, hoping to run on 8s, any recommendations on prop size to start with?

Without knowing what your driving/performance goals are.. all I can do is suggest a reasonable setup..
Probably wanna run at least 10S2P in this beast!
Maybe start with 460/3 and check temps after the first minute.

Jesse is right about knowing your goals for the boat. Considering the size if the boat, if you aren’t looking for 70+ mph then using 8S makes sense because with that setup you can use a gas-sized prop for more efficient thrust. It’s a proven setup on well dialed-in boats. An x470 would be a place to start, but as always watch temps carefully the first few runs.

Many thanks to you fluid and Jesse I just want a normal setup, not for racing or speed runs, just a knockabout rc boat.
