Moving into boats from planes - plans needed

Hi all

Im moving from balsa EDF jets into boats and im trying to find some PDF plans for a 40 inch catamaran or powerboat. Ive spent hours trawling the posts here but all the links seem to be outdated and no longer work

Would anyone be so good as to post a working link or send me the pdf for a maxcat or similar 40 ish inch boat?

Hi James and welcome to the forum!
I am working on a design for a 34” cat that I could share. If you were bold, you could have them enlarged to your 40inches you mention, but would need to cut the slots to the size of material you will be using. I am still tidying up small discrepancies but they are close. Look at my scratch cat thread build and see if you like the v3 or v4. The v4 is narrower and has a slanted deck.. you could go single or twin inboards, or twin outboards.

Have you built a boat before or are you jumping in the deep end? I’m assuming this won’t be for racing?
