    Delta Force Explorer build question

    Am putting together a df 36 with a single 40/92 motor was wondering how far back from the front of the motor setup. Thanks mike

    In other words were do I place motor 30 to 33% from the rear of the boat or from the sponsons. A 4 inch overhang could make a lot of difference in the proper C.O.G. I know Someone one has or built this configuration. Thanks mike

      I use the wet surface to calculate my cog. So I try to put my motor at 33% so battery placement can adjust balance from 27-35%.
      Leaving the overhang to add to the hardware weight distribution.
      I understand that the tighter you can get your electronics distribution the less the pitching when underway at full speed.
      I have followed this with great results.
