1/10th Scale 8700 ML Boatworks Hydroplane

Just getting ready to start building replacement 1/10th scale ml boatworks left turning, classic Thunder - western WA, div III hull. Wondering about thoughts on including fiberglass this time, A) in places, B) the entire running surface area, C) entire hull, top and bottom?

I'm almost done with my U-3 1/10 scale and have built a few 1/8 scales when I lived in WA and raced R/CU. I like using .015 GR4 glass for bottom and decks. I think skinning sponsons is better with wood for sanding and shaping purposes.
