I realize that this forum deals mostly with inboard drives , but

for those that have played with outboards, what have you done with the motor wires that need to exit the canopy ?
The canopy needs to be slotted to enable removal for battery changes and other service. I'm just looking for a method to at least partially seal around the wires. Ideas?...past experience ? thanks.......

This is common. Wires pass through radio box in brass tubes and sealed with heat shrink.

        Outboard Wire Feeds

Hey CR the Dragon Hobby boats have the wires in rubber boots exiting below the removable center pod canopy. Canopy is held on magnetically and I tape it to seal it more.

I have allways ran my esc in the open (must be water proof) and CorrosionX all the connectors, bearings and metal parts that touch water.
