Which hull for which class? P mono and P spec.

I have two hulls. One 10+ year old DF33 that is in very good shape, built, motor forward but never handled great, needs to be gutted. The other hull is a DF Cyberstorm.

Is one better than the other for either class or not much different?

The older DF33 seems like a lighter layup. I have ran it in P spec with a 1800kv gold can, both 1P and 2P.

Just want to optimize their use if possible.

    Advice appreciated.

They are the same hull I think. I have been running my Cyberstorm for years. P spec.

They are very different actually. DF33 has a less deep vee and wider at the back.

The Cyber is a better boat in both classes.

Thanks for your input Terry. Might build the Cyber and might sell the DF33. Don't know...

I can build the Cyber to bounce back and forth but, that's a hassle.

We'll see. Might try for one of those Thai 31" mono's I saw on FB. Seems a few people really liked them, built well.

There should be at least one of those at the nats Ray. If you wanted to wait to see one run.

Yeah, not in a big rush. Got enough toys for now.

I'll work on the Cyber more and set it up motor aft to give me room to switch it up.

The DF33 ran pretty good with a gold 1800kv can and 10K on board last September.
