I'm really happy with the boat's performance on 4s. 50 mph with no real heat issues is good for me at least until I can get my hands on something like the Eagletree and actually see the numbers and know I'm safe then I'll start experimenting with 6s again .I'm still sort of new to the building my own set-up thing so I'm always really nervous about doing this kind of thing I have recently sunk alot of cash into my boats and I almost have all of them running .I just really love the hobby and would like to avoid a discouraging situation but I do have a few smaller props so maybe I'll give those a quick try I'll keep you posted.

if you ever want to try a slightly hotter motor a 7xl with a detounged x440/3 will get you to 55mph, same motor 447/3 detounged and cut down to around 44mm will hit 60Comment

Hi Scott.
I know you have a data logger. I don't suppose you have any Amp draw numbers with those setups, do you? The difference between the running current & the peak current is what I'm really interested in. For any setup really.
Just curious.

Thanks Scott.
Interesting. I would have thought the max current would have been higher. But that looks good.
Cheers.

Hi, I' m new here. That's a nice place
I ordered this hull and the rudder. Not too much expensive
The cat will be powered by 1 motor XL size 11 turns water cooled and 6S Lipo batteries (2 x3)
I choose this brushless motor with 22,2 Volts. 1510 kV

Hi Alain,
Just curious, what are other's opinion of this XPOWER motors?
They are very similar to the Feigaos, and the Kedas as well.
Jut to compare the prices:
Feigao 540 3674 ~ $70
Xpower 540 3674 ~ $50
Keda 540 3674 ~ $30-$40
Is it worth going for the cheaper Xpower than the Feigao?! Or the even cheaper Kedas? What is the difference between them, besides the price? Is one so much better quality than the other or is this just marketing?Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it.

I am considering purchasing this hull for a build. Would a twin powered SV27 set-up be O.K. for this hull? I already have two ESC's and two motors. Also, I can't find all the specs for this hull so can you tell me if there is room for 4s packs in the sponsons? If not, will they fit in the hatch area? My 4s packs are 1.5" tall."IT IS BETTER TO REMAIN SILENT AND THOUGHT A FOOL THAN TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT"Comment
