Pate, I just now noticed you are from Helsinki, where are you running your boat?!

I have been there, love the city... nice people, great Ravintolas, beautiful cities, nice museums...

Ub, I´m in Vuosaari, it is in eastern Helsinki.

Less then 1/4 mile to the sea and to the local pond. (local pond http://www.youtube.com/user/RangerPa.../9/1WgTHQXRelI )

I run my boats mainly on my familys summer house that is in an smal island(well I drive in the water not in the house) . -most of my videos are from there. (this shows the boat ride http://www.youtube.com/user/RangerPa.../5/_wguZ9He_EU )

the best part of that old summer house (with leaky roof...) is that the drive there takes only 15 minutes by car and 5 minutes more on boat from my home.

It looks lovely, but trust me, one thin line (1mm) on the top edge will make all the difference... to apply it, take two strips of Tamiya masking tape (or any other brand, but it has to be very good quality), space them at 1mm, than use a paint marker to draw the line. Clear coat it (acrylic only as it does not dissolve the marker) and you're done...

I would be inclined to try a less permanent pinstripe with the stuff they sell at auto parts stores, its actually quite durable and you can peel it off if no warm fuzzies.

You're right , but I am used with permanent, as I do not find any good quality tape here... only the poor chinese bling copies....

Yep Pate, I got to hand it to you, that boat looks great and runs well. And you built it at lightning speed! Good job! So next week, will it be a hydro?

O.K. its not the best quality and the hyacynths(the floating water grass) are out of control and have pretty much taken over the whole bayou but here is the video I'll try to get a better one later. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_jAjJfjwWw

I recognize that area. Thats Bayou Lafourche between La 1 & 308 right? I always wanted to bring a boat with me when I have to go do vessel inspections in Fourchon or Grand Isle. Good job on the cat she handles well!!!

Yep ,sure is thats about 1/4 mile south of Bollinger Shipyard. The bad thing about this area now is the lillys it's hard to find an opening to run in but if your ever in the area on the weekend maybe you could shoot me a message so we could run some boats but thanks, yeah it runs really nice better than I expected. Thanks CornelP thats actually a waterway that stretches miles and miles that is just choked up with that damn water grass that will be here until the winter comes around
