            No. Heck no! I am on standby (on call) this weekend. I plugged the HW mounting holes in the transom, but haven't had time to take, or upload a pic yet.

              Got more time with it this morning, and Viking is absolutely right. My hole is too far fwd. not to mention the transom isn't 90° to the bottom of the boat. This one is fighting me every step of the way, but a brainstorming session with myself this morning may have a way to beat it! It's gonna be awesome!

                Can you use brushless motors with these jets drives as well? And what types of speeds do these push?
                My prop hasn't been wet in a while.

                  This one WILL definitely be Brushless! I'm not sure the speed, as I have never used this size drive before.

                          A 540L won't be enough power for the 40mm drive, unless you are running it on 4s.

                          You should use an XL.

                              If you haven't bought the motor yet, you might want to up the size. A 40mm jet takes WAY more power than a 40mm prop.
