    Is this your 1st brushless jet? Maybe that's why you never needed a turn fin. They will help out a great deal if you install them!

      Brushless

      Diego;
      Yes it is my first brushlessjet. I have a Dumas short stuff with a mini jet and 11T brushed motor. Then there is the Aeromarine Challanger with twin 30mm jets powered by 550 monster motors 19T.
      I'll try the turn fins. It just seems wrong to put fins on a 0 draft boat !!! I have run 2 real jet boats and had no such trouble. The Hondo 21' had a 455ci, 650 double pumper on a high rise intake manafold, and other goodies on a Jacusi Jet (sp) She would slide right along at 65mph and stop on a dime when you dropped the diverter and give you 5 cents change. Of course it would stuff the first 6' of the bow in the water. It was exciting though!

          hey viking i had the same problem with my mini-jet-v it has a lot to do with wight and the hull shape . if you have a mono type hull large deep v in the front and a shallow v almost flat in the back then the 180 turns are going to happen . the only way i fixed it was by adding ride rails to the bottom on the sides .

          but anyways good looking boat . hate to say it but i agree there are going to be some issuses when you get up to speed . mite wont here a little nose heavy . that will help. cant wait to see what that 40mm will do . been thanking i wont to play around and put the nozzle on a 29mm intake . but hate to spend the almost $100 to get the drive

                Excellent post and build Danny , keep up the good work . I have been sitting on this for years collecting dust hoping to one day run into a 36-42 inch flat botton hull . It would make a great Sunday driver . the jet drive I bought on ebay 4 years ago as a limited run miniature berkley jet drive and the motor is a Plett 355/50/06

                          If it is in fact an antique, the the price could easily double

                              Peter, as usual you have some really neat stuff. That drive looks like a piece of art.

                                that drive looks almost exactley like a real 1.1 jet boat drive...that hood comes down over the thrust flow and deverts the flow towards the front of the boat for reverse
