    Wooden Hull (fibreglass) ??

    Hey all,

    I'm new to the group. I am going to purchase my first boat. The Smit Rodderdam Tug.
    (see link below,) It has a wooden Hull. I'm confident the way to go is fibreglass, but is it necessary? Some feedback would be appreciated.

      You will get some useful advice here, but we are a fast electric group, not a scale group. More suggestions from more expert builders will come from a forum which is dedicated to scale R/C boats, like RC Groups. Good luck with the build.

          My bad, I may have jumped into the group without fully understanding the purpose. My ignorance due to not reading things properly. How would one go about deleting their account.
