    Mhz 114

So now that I think have the planning part out of the way, it is time to get to it.

    MHZ 114
    TP 4050
    MGM 16026 pros
    Graupner X8E
    Savox aluminum servo

Everything is going to be supported on opposing carbon rails. Should be interesting as I have not seen one like it.

Feel free to throw thoughts out there as this my first on.

That is a nice looking paint scheme. What KV are the 4050's?

I am going start with the 2100kv motor on 4S and go from there. Does anyone happen to remember who was selling the foam mat that sits on the bottom of the hull?

          You mean floatation?
I get mine in sheet form from 'The Foam Shop'. It is same as camping bed foam. As long as it is closed cell foam it will work.

Figured I would try something different. All of the electrical will be mounted on two rails with a plate in the middle. By removing four screws everything will pop right out. TP motors have been ordered and the MGM 16026 escs are somewhere between Maine and the Czech Republic. Hoping to get the lipo sleds milled this week as well as the hatch rivnuts installed.

Excellent idea. You are more likely to balance it perfectly.
Can I ask if you show the lipos?

I do not anything done with the lipos yet. And if anyone is wondering, 3M DP640NS forms a great bond right out of the mix tube.

I like that idea. Good thinking.

Newbie question of the day. I finally got around to getting the rubber pull cables installed but unsure how much throw is needed to get these things to turn adequately. Do I have enough or is more needed? Thank you!

Wow!! That's the same exact paint I was looking into for my Daytona. I have like a dozen pics of the real boat for reference. Is that all paint or vinyl?

It's all paint. The real deal is a wild boat. Last time I saw Win he said he was going to sell it instead of putting a pair of T-55s in it.

Wow! Could you pm me with what it cost to paint and who painted it? Thank you.

Looks like your rudder turn radius is just about right.
