    Twin mono build couple issues

Got my mono done got a good run in last weekend first long run on this boat had a couple issues.
    set up is: twin tp4060 1050kv sf 200 esc's 6s single packs for now octura 450/3 prop's.
first thing when i hit throttle one motor starts before the other.
second rudder i think was to small woulden't turn. made a bigger rudder and installed a stronger servo.
top speed was around 40 mph only pulled 36 amps max per side. got up on plane good just not to fast at top end.Bigger prop's maybe like 65's or so and
    recheck amps. any suggestions.
timing on esc's is set on auto motor's are 5y do i need to change that setting?

Have you calibrated the ESCs to your radio?

What is the boat, in my experience running really big props at low speeds can cause some nasty handling issues, but I have never run a twin mono it may negate the issues enough for you. If you have or can borrow the props it should be worth shimming out the shafts and giving it a go.

1050kv is pretty low for 6s, personally I would add another 3s pack to each side for 9s. Start again with much smaller props and work your back up checking your temps.

The boat is a expresscraft vx rocket 45 in. was designed for gas or nitro. I can go to a higher kv cheeper than to buy more esc's like 1650 kv or 1750
battery space is limited without moving my cog forward im at 30% now. thoughts on that? Or redo and push motors back more to try and get more battery room.

Motors are likely the best change. 1400 -1600 kv. 1600kv on 6s is pretty stout. You should muster in the 32- 35,000rpm range.

I run 1200 KV on 8s in my 40" twin mono. Seems to net me around 30,000rpm in the water. But I just found out the batteries I am using there are old and weak. It is a good runner as is in the 50's. Over 60 for a mono takes a bit to get running nice, 70 is a right PITA to get running nice. Just throwing that out there for you.

My lake is froze up. It's like a real Canadian winter up the valley from Vancouver. Odd, very odd. I do have one lake close to me clear finally. I'll try to get the Lazer out soon.
