optimal siez?

ok i have a fiegao 12s motor that i pulled out of my surfer and want to build a boat around. i plan to run 3s 30c lipos and an 80a esc so what size boat would be optimal for this setup? also prop size what should i start with? thanks for any help. i won't be racing this boat it is purely a sport boat i want speed in the mid to high 30's will this be possible on this motor?

Are you looking for a mono or hydro hull? In either case a hull length of about 21" - 24" will work. The key here will to be to build it very light and you will have success. For a prop I recomend starting with a m435 and go from there.

actually i plan on doing a cat but 20-21"is what i was thinking.
