    Ac Boats Edge Sport Hydro

So I just got this yesterday and it is certainly up there in size with a couple of my others. This is 22" wide at sponsons and 45" in length.
I have a Neu 1527/1250kv here and a Castle 2028/780kv, yet undecided. Guidance appreciated. Various ESC's which are up to the task and all hardware except a turn fin and flex is on premise.

Although I have built and/or ran many outriggers the little PB Miss Bud is my only other hydro.

So are there any suggestions for a turn fin and will a 1527 hold up in there fine or shall the 2028 be the better choice.
This one is just for fun.

Put a Castle 2028 in it on 8S or 10S depending on the speed you want. A safe, economical setup which will give the boat respectable speeds. The 1527 is too small for this very large hydro, and 6S is not enough for these big hulls without pulling massive amps. Hydros need more power and thrust to get on step than monos or cats do, and this one needs a decent sized prop. Try an x460 on 10S and an x467 on 8S.

Thanks Fluid, I have been reading Terry's 'Scale' thread thinking that this one would be comparable to those. Consensus does seem to be the larger motor would be smarter.

I have found a Titanium turn fin. And I recently acquired a lot of gas boat gear. Amongst which is a number of 60+mm props
