I just use 10 gauge wire & 5.5mm bullets, because that's what is on the rest of the system. That's basicaly the same as all my other 4s & 6s boats.
But bigger is always better. I use 8mm connectors & 8 gauge wire on one of my 1/8 scale hydros.
Battery opening is 62mm wide through the hatch, but 82mm between the tub sides, once you're in there.
Length is 240mm, with 60mm height at the rear & 40mm at the front.
I hope you have as much fun putting yours together as I have with this one.
