Traxxas Spartan Motor upgrade

Hey guys,

I have a Traxxas Spartan and I'm looking for a new motor as I had the infamous esc fire and motor issue. I have since upgraded the cooling.... again... and have a 180amp Speed control. I purchased a 3674 2200kv motor that I thought would be a bit better as its slightly larger however I can not get it to work well as the motor get very hot.

So I'm looking at motors again and after consideration Ive decided to go with either the Leopard 4082 @1800kv or the Leopard 4092 @ 1730kv. With this being said, I don't really know which motor would be better suited and am asking for so thoughts..?

I run 6s 6000mah 45c batteries and like to go fast mostly drag race style, so I blast out and drive leisurely back over and over for the most part.
