    Rigger plugs anyone!

    Hey guys,
I got motivated this week and started work on a new set of outrigger plugs. Designed specifically to run the SV27/BJ26 power systems. We've been having so much fun racing this class with the puget club that I thought I'd just build molds for it.

This one is based on what I learned with my record setting N2 boat with the design better optimised for the spec power. I've had the prototype up near 60 mph on the stock SV ESC and motor (loads of prop tinkering). I think it will work for the 600g battery class the Aussies run as well.

I finished shaping all the bits (tub, hatch, sponsons, ride pad) last night. The sealer is curing as we speak. I should have tooling primer on them monday. With any luck, molds the following week.

The boat builds up at 30"

Just an update. The tub, hatch and ride pad molds are finished. I'll get the sponson molns done when I get back from the LA SAWs.

11.5 oz and strong. Sponson molds when I get back from LA.

I've had a couple people ask about that. It should fit a CC240, 1515/1Y and most of the 5000-5500mah cells. The tub isn't tall enough for the Poly RC 6000's.

Is that a rear ride pad at the top of the pic? Also, where is the parting line on the tub/mid 1/2 or top...looks great man. Good job. Are you using West Systems?
