i got it running good now, i adjusted on the strut raised the trim tabs + lost the left turn fin. it loosened up alot. im using a 438 or 638 and running in the mid 40s, i havent had it on gps yet but it is outrunning other boats that i know run in the 42-44mph. i tried a 440 and it didnt seem to make much difference because it doesnt spinn as high rpm, but the heat issue is gone. also with the 438 i get long run times (about 8 minutes total) on 4900's. now i'm working on a df 32" (chineese copy) on 10xl and 6 cells. if you have any tips on that please link me to the forum. i havent run it yet but i'm trying to get 52 or so mph. this weekend will tell the story. so far that mini mogli pictured above is the one to beat, it runs high 40's on a 4s1p 4000 and ammo 2300/440 it just rides good and to top it off is self righting.

Hello , my Mhz Tsunami 33"also runs without trimms but has one turnfin but i notice no difference in turning . In my setup the rudder is longer then de propshaft so turning is easier , i have seen many setups where the prop shaft is longer then the rudder in that case turning will be harder and turnfins are needed.

The speed is beyond 40 and it runs stable , vid. last 5 secs on the hpr06 test video top speed was 54mph.

I have some pics overhere but if you want better ones just ask.

Very Nice....9XLs on 6S? How is your heat? You will pick up some speed if you replace those props. They have to be flexing.

          What ESCs are you using?

With the right motor its a devil and can reach 60+mph even for this size , it has now a lehner 1940/8 on 4s lipo . But for me i would sell it if it whas mine , i think its to small and it performce best on flat water , but i cant its my cousin el diablo we share my shed for working on our boats .

He has one of the first El Diablos made in carbon .

chuck good to hear you got it sorted let us know how you go with the 32" i think there is some builds on here about them. low kv on 6s is a good way to go but if you want to keep your batteries the same you could try a 7-8xl on 4s. i run a 32" cat on 7xl (2834kv) on 4s runs 55mph+. trying to do a twin motor cat but the aussie dollar is real bad at the moment so has put me on hold
                      cheers scott

i know i can do the same on 4s/higher kv but i have never had a 6s boat. i have a stack of 4900 3s packs i was planning on using in the 25" before i went with the ammo so i decided to go that way. also i think i might be able to run a big (45mm) prop on 6s. i run at 2 different ponds, gas boats on the big pond and fe on the small one. the 32" is something i feel i can play with at the big pond with the gas boats. i will try to get some vid's soon so you guys can see what kind of set up we have here in hawaii. the small pond is sweet, in a nice park with palm trees and all. it is only about 50 yards long so even the 25" is a little fast for it. it is perfect for a few under 20" 3 cell boats i have like the folki, starship rigger, geko and a modified offshore worior (they run 40+ but handle like a slot car)

i changed the set up on this 26 delta force. i went with a 8L feigao and hydra 120 with a 4900mah 3 cell. on a x438 i was able to pull 40.5mph on the gps with 2 minute runs keeping temps all under 135. i have the esc timing set at low and no doubt can pull a 440 or maybee 638... i was happy with this set-up as i could run it a little wetter and hi handled like it was on rails....
