    Had a good day working on the boat today. Opened up the hatch and removed the front bulk head. Sanded the lip at the transom before mounting the strut and rudder, had to shim them out with pieces of styrene sheet. Added the steering rod and boot along with the water in take fitting.

      Installed motor mount and stuffing tube. Using 150 flex and 3/16 stub.

        Looking good Heath. You won't have the problems we had with Thorny's old boat since you've got lipo and brushless power! The sponson mods look nice though. It will be very interesting to see how it goes, I recall they did well in rougher water, so the smaller size might be OK.
