Can some please help me out

I got this wooden boat, and when I got it the servo for the rudder was in a seal box and with the linkage at a weird angle and there was so much drag on it

The guy I got the boat from, tried to turn the Rudder and he snapped it off flush at the bottom of the boat

I have removed the wooden box and are going to use a Water Proof servo with new linkage and servo mount out of plate and changed they way the coupler mounts on the Rudder shaft

And now I need a Rudder, I'm not sure if I can make one

so where would you buy one, in the picture is the what the old Rudder looked like, and the jet boat ones are all can find

Or the ones that have a pivot point at the bottom of it and it sits in a brass bushing attached to the boat it, says its for a Tug boat , it wont work for me, I don't think it would work with out the bottom bushing supporting the rudder correct ??

Is the old broken Rudder, supposed be notched around the prop shaft like that ??

would it not turn better if the Rudder was shaped different and not a have the notch in it for the prop shaft ??

So how do I decide shape, size, design of Rudder I need,

I looked online but the only Rudders,

I seen where for Jet boat the long Rudders with water pick ups in them

so where would I look for one to work on my boat

I also seen they sell Rudder assemblies, that have different sized shaft diameters and different sized Rudders for them,

Tower Hobbies and Great Planes have a lot of boat parts, that's where I started looking first

I was in the area just could find what I need

I also looked online how to make your own Model Boat or R/C boat rudder and there talking about theories of Rudder and its effects

and again it was for a different boat and the shaft was not centered in the Rudder blade, and angled differently so

    no help there

I'm new R/C boats but not new to R/C's, I have built every Rock Crawler, I own from kits or piles of part bought online and built

I have read the faster your boat goes the easier it turns correct ??? and at low speed its harder to turn Correct ???

    I'm using a Titan 12 turn brushed motor with 2 2S Lipo's in parallel in a 42'' wooden boat

so its going to be slow so how does that effect the Rudder and turning of the boat ??
