    MBP Outerlimits 96 Bulletproof Build

Getting started on my MBP Outerlimits hull. I did a post about the hull when I first received it.

The seam needed a little work, so I fixed it up before a quick paint job. Just going to add a couple decals.

Click drives need some modifications to work with this hull, but is doable. The pedestal mounts have to be cut down to fit as well as the tubes that go inside the drives.

Using the KBB Type B rudder. Because of the low profile of the this hull, I needed the blade to start higher up on the rudder. So I drilled a new hole and trimmed the top of the blade. I will still need to cut the length of the blade down some.

Nice Joel, she looks mean with the orange paint and black hardware. Jw did you inlay this hull too in the last pic it kinda looks like it?

Would like to know how you're going to power this hull as in escs/motors.

Yeah, did a cf inlay. It's definitely not needed, just like the black. For now it's getting TP 4040s and T180s with option to switch out for a pair of LMT 19xx.

Are those the (cheaper) MBP smart drives or are they the clicks, Joel? Have you tried them before?

I'm thinking to switch to those ... as the OSE 3/16 drives I got have already bent on one side lol :/

They're Click Drives. No, I haven't run a set yet.

Apophis: What's the latest boat you're working on, man? You still have that 106mph Daytona?

Looks good man! I'm liking the outerlimits cat look. Something different from all the mystics.

whats the overall length of the rudder? i was wondering about the kintech rudder that is a full edge from the mount all the way down. its 6 inches overall.
