When to trim my laminated Cheetah hatch with Carbon Kevlar??

It's been curing for about 5 hours now and I have this overhang that will need trimming.

Is it easier to trim now with my special scissors or wait to trim it when fully cured with what?? I used sandbags with weights on top to get the cloth to stick to corners with a layer of Parchment paper to prevent sticking. All that is off now.

Any answers asap are going to be greatly appreciated!!

I'll post pics of finished build asap...

Trim right before fully cured using a sharp blade and just slide it along the hatch edge and try to apply pressure outwards so the cloth doesn't separate. Then you just clean it up with some sandpaper when it's cured.
