Nice job! She looks a tad light in the front. I love mine. Getting ready to build another I have. I also have one of Doug's really light weight versions but not sure how she will hold up.

I did put ride pads on mine...not the ones that come with it. Ballbearing strut and wire drive and it rocks....running a X642 She screams on a 4T old plett but they are plenty of rpm and torque. Not sure it can take 4S in lipo but I am going to try soon when new cells get here.

I will try to get some of those Fabulous pics that Vance took at the picnic.

I know he got pics of the cat and ul1 but I think the shovel flipped before any were taken.

I might make it but can't promise I will and besides the weather doesn't look to promising.

I ran the boat today and shouldn't have. It was fairly windy with quite a bit of chop. Here is the result of running it.

                  coulda been worse.

hmm, did it break with the grain? Might be something to reinforce.

Pretty much, I used basswood the first time and will use a ply for the new one. It took a pretty good tumble this time though.

That had to be a bad tumble. I hope it won't be too much trouble for you to fix her.

Is there anything we can do? Do you want to skin the wood over something else? I've got a piece of carbon fiber that you could use if you feel so inclined. Just let me know.

I am finally getting this boat repaired. I dug out the old fin and made a new one out of 3/32 5-ply. I have it glued in place and a coat of poly to seal it.

I haven't had much time to work on this but have made a little progress.
